Adult Autism & ADHD Evaluations

Maybe it was never a flaw.
Maybe it was always this.

If you've spent years sensing your mind works differently (masking, overcompensating, quietly wondering), an evaluation gives you the language, the validation, and the roadmap that's been missing. Clarity isn't only for kids.

Understanding, at any age

It's never too late to understand yourself.

Many adults spend years sensing they're wired differently without ever having the words for it. An evaluation can finally offer language, clarity, and a kinder way of understanding how your mind has always worked, along with practical, affirming next steps from here.

You might recognize yourself

A lifetime of almost.

Almost fitting in. Almost keeping up. Almost understanding why some things feel so much harder for you than they seem to for everyone else. If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone, and you're not broken.

You were the "gifted" kid who later burned out and never quite understood why.

You mask all day to seem fine, then have nothing left when you get home.

You've been told it's "just anxiety or depression," but treatment never quite fit.

Focus, routine, and follow-through feel like a daily battle no one else seems to fight.

A diagnosis in your child made you suddenly recognize yourself.

You've quietly wondered for years, but never had the words for it.

What an adult evaluation gives you

More than a label — a way forward.

Your evaluation also considers what so often travels with autism and ADHD in adults — anxiety, depression, and the exhaustion of years spent masking — so you understand the whole picture, not just a diagnosis.

Self-understanding

A framework that finally explains a lifetime of patterns, and the relief of knowing it was never a character flaw.

Real accommodations

Documentation to request support at work or in school, under the ADA and beyond.

A path to support

Clarity that opens the door to therapy that actually fits, coaching, community, and (where appropriate) a medication conversation.

Validation

To be seen, heard, and believed by a clinician who understands how your mind works.

Language for your life

Words for what you experience, to share with partners, family, and employers.

A roadmap forward

Practical, affirming next steps built around the way you're actually wired.

Straightforward pricing

The same clear pricing, for adults too.

Adult evaluations follow the same flat-rate, all-inclusive pricing as the rest of our practice: $2,500 for a focused evaluation, $3,000 for a comprehensive one, with a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement and financing available. You'll know your exact cost before we begin, always.

An affirming process

You'll be met with respect — not pathology.

Our approach is grounded and neurodiversity-affirming. We're not here to catalog what's "wrong" with you. We're here to help you understand how you're wired, and to hand you the clarity that's been yours to have all along.

What we hear, again and again

A kinder understanding of how you're wired.

So many adults tell us it's the first time they truly understand how their mind has always worked, and the first time they feel a little kinder toward themselves for it.

Honest answers

Questions adults ask us

Is it even worth getting diagnosed as an adult?

For many people, yes. A formal evaluation can unlock accommodations and the right support and, just as importantly, the validation of finally understanding yourself. You decide what to do with the answers; we make sure you have them.

Isn't it too late to matter?

It's never too late to understand your own mind. Adults tell us the clarity reshapes how they work, relate to others, and treat themselves, at any age.

Will I be judged or pathologized?

No. Our approach is neurodiversity-affirming. We're not here to label what's "wrong" with you. We're here to help you understand how you're wired.

Do you evaluate both autism and ADHD in adults?

Yes, including the presentations so often missed earlier in life, especially in women and in anyone who learned to mask.

What about insurance?

We're an out-of-network practice and provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement, plus a Good Faith Estimate before we begin. See our pricing page for details.
